On behalf of ASPRS Cascadia Region and Oregon URISA, we are happy to welcome you to the 30th annual GIS in Action conference!
The GIS in Action conference features 7 tracks and nearly 50 presentations from local and national professionals to inspire dialog and enhance your knowledge with real world applications of geospatial technology. The conference provides a very economical way for all of us to improve our technical skills and learn about the latest software enhancements.
The conference is also a great way to connect with our peers and share successes and opportunities that we can carry back to improve our organizations. We are fortunate to have a strong professional community in Oregon and Washington, and please use this conference to share, reconnect, and make new friends! Finally, we would like to thank the GIS in Action committee for developing a great conference agenda, Portland State University for hosting, and our sponsors for supporting us.
Map Gallery Presentations Map Gallery Contest contestants will have an opportunity to talk, describe, explain, and/or teach about the creation in the Map Gallery to whoever shows up. The audience will have time to ask questions. Time for presentation and questions will depend on approximately how many will present.
